Consumer Lender Requires Turnaround
The Story: Well established 11 year old company whose patriarch dies.
The Problem: Company had gone from a positive $4 million EBITDA to -$2.0 million EBITDA during a 36 month period. The company’s primary lender has an eight digit facility and is growing concerned and evaluating taking the portfolio and shutting down the company.
The Solution: Forensically evaluate each business segment, map a detailed business plan, and then execute timely while assuming a leadership role in dealing directly with the lender.
The Outcome: Company became EBITDA positive by the third month, and experienced net profitability by the fifth month. The lender is ecstatic and instead of liquidating the company has expressed interest in extending the sum of the credit facility.

Company Receives Unsolicited Offer For Purchase
The Story: Industry leading twenty year old tool company who is approached for acquisition and for the owner to remain as an executive in the acquiring company.
The Problem: Although the CEO is an incredible developer of tools and has built a great business, he had no experience structuring a deal to sell a company. He was also challenged in placing a value on the company while there was a tight window of opportunity to get a deal done. The company’s CFO and CPA went to the owner with a value that the owner could not sell the company for.
The Solution: Evaluate the company, its market, and the intrinsic value of being a strategic acquisition for a much larger company, while dealing with a European owner, a South American acquirer and American advisors on the acquiring company.
The Outcome: A complex deal was simplified, multiple backgrounds were managed and the WKH valuation was 320% greater than what the CPA and CFO recommended based on balance sheet and income statement supported
